Oh Mighty Dragon!
Release the prisoner.
Open wide the gates of the furnaces.
/
I have come for my beloved,
beyond the city gates
and its high walls
Let no high wall take my glory
Let no stone hinder my advancement.
/
The beasts dance under the midnight sun
Veils and shadows are stretched upon the expanse
I am dauntless and I ride my dragon with the strength of
one thousand men one thousand
No matter the distance
My beast crosses oceans and lands above and beyond
for us.
O men,
What is your strength!
If the Great Nāga is with us,
who is against us?
Conquer we shall,
Marching as untamed victors.
We return with pride
Adorned with flowers like great generals—
We take our crowns from above our heads,
To rest them at the feet of Phra Phuttha Chao.
The abundance of water
Khun Mae and
Khun Pae
have poured on our hands,
united by threads of luck and good fortune.
Blessings upon blessings,
and what is mine shall be mine
It has been reserved for me
and I willingly share it with you.
Across the veils of all time
Beyond the afterlife
I will cross the expanse for you.
